A little about our Registered Dietitians, Logan Smith & Mary Witnauer

My name is Logan Smith, owner of LS Nutrition, LLC. I work specifically with clients who want to achieve food freedom, work on their relationship with food through eating disorder recovery, learn about nutrition to improve their health, achieve wellness and ditch the diet mentality for good.

I struggled for years with yo-yo dieting and disordered eating, so I get it! I was stuck in the vicious cycle of starting the latest diet to be “healthy” and to control my weight, only to feel out of control with food and unavoidable weight cycling. Then, I would compensate by exercising more and eating less. I tried every form of dieting you can imagine; from counting calories & macros to the military diet, whole30 & more. Because of this, I can assure you that diets do not work long term. They also leads to disordered eating and eating disorders is many cases.

Dieting lead me to becoming obsessed with “what should I eat?” and “how much should I eat?” Once I worked on healing my relationship with food and movement, my overall health improved drastically. I went from an average energy level of 6/10 (with the help of lots of caffeine) to a 9/10 on average!

Yo-yo dieting is the strongest indicator of weight gain and increases the risk of developing certain diseases. So ask yourself, why is dieting still recommended to improve health?

With my nutrition counseling approach, I will help you ditch dieting for good AND help you improve your overall wellness.

Constantly worrying about what to eat, when to eat, and how much to eat isn’t how it’s meant to be. I will help you enjoy eating again, stress and guilt-free in a way that works for you. Nutrition isn’t supposed to be this complicated.

Join me in creating a healthy relationship with food.

Hi! My name is Mary Witnauer. My interest in nutrition began much like many others—with a desire to find the "perfect" diet. After years of experimenting with MANY diets, obsessively counting calories, and exhausting myself with endless research, I realized there had to be a better way. This led me to pursue a career in understanding the science of food. I graduated from Youngstown State University with a Bachelor’s degree and a completely new perspective on food and nutrition. To my surprise, I never did find that elusive 'perfect' diet. Now, as a Registered Dietitian, my mission is to help others build a healthy relationship with food. I’m passionate about guiding clients toward food peace and sustainable wellness, where nourishment feels simple and stress-free.
